Our Story
Our story began back in March 2012, when we met in San Rafael at, what we remember to be, the most riveting special education training of the year. Despite the initial spark, it turned out to be a missed connection as life took us in different directions. Six years later, fate came knocking and brought us back together when Jason's boss asked Leigh-Anna to move back up to the bay area for a job working directly with Jason. She accepted and the rest is history.
Our love has been a wonderful adventure filled with cozy evenings at home in Novato, CA with our beloved pets Chip, Jeff, and Janis Joplin. When not at home, we can be found embarking on spontaneous road trips to discover new breweries (currently, we've been to 216 together!), and on expeditions to chase down our favorite musical artists in the most beautiful concert venues around the country. So far, our absolute favorite place to go is Red Rocks in Colorado. Each moment, whether big or small, has woven us closer together, creating a beautiful tapestry of memories and an unwavering bond that continues to grow.
Jason proposed on December 3, 2023 on the beaches of Mexico during a four day long music festival hosted by our favorite band, Dispatch. It was the perfect way to enter into this next phase of our lives.
We're excited to celebrate the next chapter with you, surrounded by the people we love most. We're headed to Philo, California to celebrate under the beautiful Redwood trees surrounded by vineyards, creeks, one of our favorite breweries, and even an apple orchard! In honor of one of our absolute favorite places, Red Rocks, we welcome you to....WEDROCKS!!!
